Cobblestone Unbound

Cobblestone Unbound is an exciting work-in-progress mod that reimagines Minecraft's most abundant resource: cobblestone. This mod transforms cobblestone from a simple building material into the key to an expansive new dimension, filled with unique biomes, powerful resources, and thrilling challenges.

Currently, the mod introduces a new Overworld biome—the Cobblestone Plains—where players can explore rolling hills of cobblestone, dotted with gravel and moss. This biome is rich with resources, including the rare Stonium Ore, which players can mine to craft powerful tools and armor. Stonium is a durable material, offering strength beyond iron and easier access than diamonds, making it an essential asset for players.

The centerpiece of Cobblestone Unbound is the Cobblestone Portal, a gateway to the mysterious Cobblestone Dimension. By condensing large amounts of cobblestone into a dense, almost magical form, players can craft a special portal frame. When activated with a Stonium Igniter, the portal opens up to an entirely new world made of cobblestone and its variants.

In the Cobblestone Dimension, players will discover towering spires of polished and cracked cobblestone, vast caverns brimming with lava, and abundant Stonium Ore. This dimension presents treacherous landscapes and formidable new mobs, including the powerful Cobblestone Golems that fiercely guard the rarest resources.

The mod is already playable, with Stonium Tools and Stonium Armor available for crafting. These items provide enhanced durability and special abilities, such as extra damage to stone-based mobs and resistance against the harsh environments of the Cobblestone Dimension. However, Cobblestone Unbound is still a work in progress, and many more features are planned for future updates.
