This mod adds necromancy. However, you can't just go "Oogie Boogie I hereby raise you to life!" Because where are you getting the corpses from? So, in this mod, you need material to resurrect minions. First, Craft a Corpse Crafter's Staff from two pale planks and an emerald. Then get your hands on some of the materials below. Hold one of these in your offhand, and the staff in your main. When you hit a monster with the staff, it will summon an undead monster. The summoned minions will disappear after a little bit. Trying to summon a monster by attacking a monster of the same type will not work. In updates more undead monsters will be available, along with potential enchantments for the staff.

Monster/Material:

Zombie/Rotten Flesh

Skeleton/Bones

Phantom/Phantom membrane

Necrotic Runes:

The necrotic runes are runes that can imbue power into your corpse crafter's staff. They are made from Carcaslate, a new green stone found in stony shores, which requires a stone pickaxe to mine. Chisel this with a stone cutter and get Runecrafting (only one rune may be on the staff at a time). All rune recipes are unlocked upon mining carcaslate. Start breaking a rune block to gain the rune. They consist of the following:

Mundane Rune: Craft with the staff to repair it and and remove the current rune.

Frostbite Rune: When summoning a skeleton, you instead summon a stray.

Viper Rune: When summoning a skeleton, you instead summon a bogged.

Wither Rune: When summoning a skeleton, you instead summon a wither skeleton.

Depths Rune: When summoning a zombie, you instead summon a drowned. (This will only attack a target if it is night or you are underwater.)

Poverty Rune: When summoning a zombie, you instead summon a husk.

Abyssal Catalysts:

Abyssal catalysts temporarily (or in some cases permanently!) increase your corpsecrafting abilties. When you activate an abyssal catalyst, it will grant you the Forbidden Knowledge potion effect. While you have this potion effect, any summons will gain Strength II. To make an abyssal catalyst, use a blast furnace to make carcaslate into carcaslate crystals. Craft 4 of these together to make a carcaslate crystal block. Then craft one of the following abyssal runes:

Rough Abyssal rune: Grants 60 minutes of Forbidden Knowledge.

Adequate abyssal rune: Grants 120 minutes of Forbidden Knowledge

Improved abyssal rune: Grants 180 minutes of Forbidden Knowledge

Flawless abyssal rune: Grants 240 minutes of Forbidden Knowledge.

Forbidden abyssal rune: Grants permanent Forbidden Knowledge. (The recipe for this rune is locked, and will have to be discovered.)

Btw I am gonna get a nomad rune (Skeleton-->Parched) in once mounts of mayhem comes to mcreator.

I would like to say, I am sorry if this mod keeps reappearing on the "new minecraft mods list" when next to nothing has changed. I am just making minor changes to the description and that is for some reason putting it on there.

NOTE: The Zoglin is soon to be taken off the summons, but may (although I would say it is unlikey) return in the upcoming Necrotic Runes update.

i hate it when people just use ai instead of actually making a title image (or whatever it's called)
