this mod is the best minecraft triffid mod you can find. when i made this i looked up  "minecraft triffid mod" in google and only got stuff about 1 boss in a mod that was not about triffids. so i had a think. "i love triffids and the book and lots of other people think the same. so why is there not any minecraft mods. i will fix that XD"
so i made this mod.

when i made this mod i was trying to make it as true to the book and its law
and make it like you where in the story inside it.
so don't worry i have made this as true to the law of the book as i can without 100% remaking minecraft and its engine.

this mod has custom models and ai to make the triffids as fun to deal with as i could.

        the triffid mod i have made has 4 versions 3 versions of its base entity. "and also a blood entity"

• Growing "redacted and replaced with non glitchy version"
• Living
• Feeding
• Dead

a triffid will start as a baby in the growing state. in this state it is harmless and looks like a flower.
but after it is attacked or becomes a adult it will become the living state.

in the living state it can shoot stingers and hunt you down. thay have custom ai to make them follow any
target thay can feed off and then make a barrier of triffids around the area that entity is in within 80 blocks.

when the triffid is attacked it will drop "triffid blood" that is a cool custom entity. you can remove for slime balls.

after it is killed it will drop some items like "triffid flesh" that you can eat and get sick. but it will also drop its dead state.
the dead state is like a normal triffid but its dead. its basicly a custom dead body entity. you can kill it for more loot but best remove it or more triffids will come to find what killed it. basicly if you dont remove the bodys of dead triffids more will come and thay will be angry.

when a triffid kills a player or blind npc in 1 player mode or more
it will go into its feeding state, and eat the body of the npc/player it killed. as by doing this it will spawn a 2nd triffid.

this mod is playable with other mods and works in 1 player mode and on servers. i made it so it will all work in a server and even adds more cool things and links into other mods and plugins if you make a plugin for it or want to make a mod that can connect to this. i added reverse coded inputs and massive custom logic systems so you can make a mod and then link a ability into this!

basicly i made it super customizable and made it compatible with almost everything.
