Better Torches Mod

Better Torches is a small but unique mod that changes and fixes the torch's mechanics by requiring additional actions.

- Unlit Torch

The unlit torch is the main ingredient to allow the player lit it up and have a Minecraft torch. Please note that this is in early development and Unlit Torches cannot be placed.

- Lit up a Torch

To do this, you will need:

1 Unlit Torch

1 Flint and Steel

Put the flint and steel in your off-hand (left hand) and put the torch in any slot

Then, right-click the torch and there you have it!

- Turn off a Lit Torch

Simply press the letter U on your keyboard. This can be reconfigured in the Controls section.

- Crafting Recipe

You will no longer get a normal Torch when crafted. Instead, you will get an Unlit Torch

- Creative tab

You can find the Unlit Torch in the Decorations tab.

Side-note: This mod is much better if you have OptiFine and Dynamic Lights installed
