Shadows Of Elementary is a massive content mod that thaits to overhaul minecraft combat by making it more fast and customizable. the mod adds classes, bosses, biomes, weapons, armors, and some changes to the vanilla game
Classes:
Shadow of elementary uses a stats system that sets attributes and effect depending the armors parts your wearing, making the class system much more flexible and familiar. Currently there are 3 classes you can choose and mix, each one with theirs specific stats:
Melee: A close range physical fighter thats makes use of swords, greatswords, and hammers
- Strength: improves melee damage of the player by +1 per level
- Vigor: Increases player base health +4 per level
Mage: A class that makes use of staffs and enchanted weapons to deal damage and provoke altered effects
- Intelligence: reduces wands and magics weapons cooldowns
- Power: Depending on each wand or ability, the power can increase its damage, range, duration, and effect level.
Ranged: makes primary use of bows, crossbows, and firearms, is a class intended to attack from long reach
- Dexterity: Increases player damage with ranged weapons and also give you a 5% per level to not consume ammo
Bosses:
Jiang Shi : The Cursed One
Jiang Shi is the first boss of the mod, having a base health of 300(♥ × 150). His attacks consist in create a area of blue fire that applies wither to the player, summon 4 zombies around him, and bite the player to steal his life.
Jiang Shi can be summoned by inserting a Cursed Key into a Cursed Vessel Both Items obtainable as loot from the Terra Shark, a mob that swims through the sand and is found in the deserts.
After defeating Jiang Shi you will unlock new crafting recipes, a new ore will appear in the soulsand valleys, and also a new hostile mob called poltergeist will spawn once in a while.
Nirbus: The Void Protector
Nirbus has 350(♥ × 175) health, but don't underestimate him as he has very tough armor. His attacks consist of shooting lightning, creating an corrosive pulse, and make a flare.
To summon Nirbus is as simple as finding the activating block found in a structure in the red forest. Once you defeated him, you will have access to the void, a new dimension full of materials to collect, but also be careful because now the specters of the void can sneak into your world
Vanilla Changes:
Difficulty Changes
If you are playing on hard dificulty, the mobs will behave differently from the vanilla game. Playing on hard now the game will not only be more lethal, but also the probability that some objects have to drop will be higher
Mobility: zombies will be able to dash and dodge attacks, skeletons will be able to dash backwards if you get too close to them.
Equipement: Zombies has the probability to spawn with a hard mode exclusive sword, called putrid blade, that can poison, wither skeletons also can spawn with a exclusive weapon called Antisactum, that can inflict sentence(a new effect that deal damage after the duration ends)
Events: if it's raining, zombies will transform into drowneds and gain a speed bost and slow fall. If you are playing on normal, the transformation will occur but the drowneds will not have any advantage.
This mod is in constant development, so keep in mind that some features will not be available at the moment
