How can I create a mob that can have different textures?

Well, I want to create a mob like the horses, sometimes they have a texture and other times they have another one.

But I don't know how to make it. Help, please.

You select new mob as a mod…

You select new mob as a mod element type, give it a name and start working on it. I believe you can find many tutorials for this on this website and on YouTube too.
