Topic category: Help with MCreator software
(note: i haven't been here for 7 months, so i don't know which forum section to put this in.)
so i wanted to use the phantom model for a sea monster mob in my mod, and realised it's not built-in. so, i was looking on the internet for a model of the phantom and couldn't find any.
does anybody know where i can download or find mob models from vanilla minecraft?
Download blockbench and use that. It is a tool for models in minecraft mods. using blockbench you can also create a mob skin and select phantom and make the texture and export the texture and the model and done.
i used blockbench, but i can't find phantom anywhere.
do you use the latest version? Since if you do you should be able to find the phantom model. Also I would put a screenshot to prove the model is there but I am bad at putting images in text
my version is 3.6.5, but it's not there for some reason. if you want, i can send images of the templates.
I will check blockbench on my pc to see if there is phantom model.
I just checked and there is a phantom model. You just need the template loader plugin for blockbench.
just found it. thanks. now i can finish my mod.
so i loaded the mod in mcreator and i need to animate it. do you know how i can animate it like a phantom flying?
You cannot animate it in MCreator, (at least outside of code), however, I have played around with plugins on Blockbench, and there is one that allows you to animate java models, but you will have to figure out (or get some help), with the code for animating a mob.
