Ranged item "when bullet hits living entity" not always activating

Ranged item "when bullet hits living entity" not always activating

I created a ranged item. When it hits an entity, it doesn't always run the 'when bullet hits living entity' procedure. I have been testing on pigs, and about 15% of the time, the projectile hits the pig, but then doesn't run the procedure I made.

Can anyone tell me why this is happening and how I can fix it?
