This is my first attempt at making a Mod for Minecraft (fabric). So its a very small Mod and there may be some glaring design flaws that will be hopefully fixed as I tinker with the Mod.
This Mod is to address some quality of life issues I personally find annoying in Minecraft, Specifically I find that Netherite feels kind of useless after getting your armor and tools, making it seem pointless to ever go mining for it again. My second issue being unable to instantly mine deepslate even with Haste II.
My Mod “Vanilla Plus”, tries to solve these issues in a Balanced/Vanilla way.
Thus introducing my new addition to the game Titanium, this new metal is a tier above Neitherite.
Titanium is made using Neitherite ingots thus giving it a wider range of use and a purpose beyond just the 7-8 ingots you get for a set of tools and armor. Some things that you can use Titanium for can be a little strong. So each ingot isn't the simplest item to get and takes a fair bit of Netherite mining.
Tool Set:
Has slightly higher durability then Netherite.
The most notably upgrades with this new tier is:
The Pickaxe, which allows you to instantly mine deepslate with Efficiency V and Haste 2.
And the Axe allowing you to instantly chop wood with Efficiency V end Haste II
The other tools in the set are just slightly more durable, apart from the sword which also has a bit more damage.
Spawners:
Aside from the tools I tried to add some more late game options using the new Titanium metal.
The Spawner is now craftable.
To craft the Spawner you will need to collect Mobchunks from finding and mining natural Spawners in the world.
When placed it is always a Pig Spawner.
So to address this I also made the following eggs craftable to change the Spawner into the desired mob.
Skeleton Egg
Zombie Egg
Spider Egg
The recipes and the way to get Spawners may need to be adjusted but for the time being it seems to be decently hard to get with a draw back to make it balanced to a reasonable degree.
JEI Mod or equivalent is recommended as most of the recipes don't show up in the Minecraft recipe book.
This Mod works in Minecraft 1.18.1
Again this is my first Mod so I am sure there is design and balance issues.
But all feedback and suggests are most welcome.
