About the plugin

RedWire's Plugin is a thing that I've been using mostly to help with my own mod-making experience. Hopefully, some of the additions from this plugin will be useful to other people :)

Supported plugin versions:

Forge 1.19.2, Forge 1.19.4, Forge 1.20.1, NeoForge 1.20.4, NeoForge 1.20.6, NeoForge 1.21.1, NeoForge 1.21.4

Changelog

for the full list of changes, check this file

v5.4.2

  • Re-named the file of "Get literal UUID of [entity]" procedure so it doesn't clash with MCreators string uuid getter
  • Added some extra strings in text.properties for UUID-related var stuff, although currently useless
  • Moved "Is literal UUID [uuid] same as [uuid2] to the MCreator logic tab

v5.4.1

  • Added procedure "Is literal UUID [uuid] same as [uuid2]" (I forgot to include this before 😔)
  • Changed text of the UUID-NBT-get procedure to line up with the other NBT procedures

v5.4.0

  • Slightly changed text for "Is UUID [txt] valid" and "Get entity from UUID [txt] from provided world" to clarify that it uses string UUIDs.
  • Added procedure "Get literal UUID of [entity]"
  • Added procedure "Does [entity] have custom UUID NBT tag [tagname]"
  • Added procedure "Get UUID from [entity] custom NBT tag [tagname]"
  • Added procedure "Set [entity] custom UUID NBT tag [tagname] to [uuid]"
  • Added procedure "Get entity from literal UUID [uuid] from provided world". Main reason I did all this is because I learned that parsing a string UUID every tick can tank performance in comparison to directly using UUID

v 5.3.0

  • Revised all procedure colors to allow visual changes if the Blockly editor saturation/brightness values are edited instead of a fixed RGB value

perhaps this one?

Your plugin page says that it supports MCreator 2024.1, but when I load workspace with the plugin, the plugin does not work

I don't expect you to want to do this but I figured I'd ask, is a backport through 1.19.2 - 1.19.4 possible?

When updating to 1.1.0 all the procedures under action all meshed together in the selection and it won't let me use any of them
