Resistance Value (All you need to know)

For those of you who pressed the "resistance" question-mark when creating a block mod element:

Resistance, also known as blast resistance, determines how well a block can survive an explosion. A higher value means harder to be destroyed by an explosion.

Here are some of the resistance values from in-game:

Bedrock = 18.000.000

Endportal = 18.000.000

Anvil = 6.000

Enchantingtable = 6.000

Enderchest = 3.000

Water/Lava = 500

Cobblestone/Stone = 30

Diamond/Iron/Emerald/Coal Block = 30

Hopper = 24

Terracotta = 21

Furnace = 17.5

Diamond/Iron/Emerald/Coal ore = 15

Chest = 12.5

Wood/Log = 10

Melon = 5

Sandstone = 4

Grass Block = 3

Ice = 2.5

Sand = 2.5

Dirt = 2.5

Glass = 1.5

Snow = 0.5
