A New World

A New World is a mod that adds a sci-fi, survivalist story to the Player's origins.

- Starting the game -

In the beginning, the player wakes up inside a strange steel pod, with no memory of what happened prior to then. Once you wake up, you will be surrounded by new technology added by the mod. You will be wearing futuristic armor that is stronger than netherite. There will be resources and weapons, such as an Antion Pistol that one-shots zombies and monsters, an Electric Baton that paralyzes mobs for a short amount of time, A lethal Positon Rifle that explodes large chunks of land, and futuristic food supplies like MRE rations, that have the best nutrition and saturation in the game.

However, these resources will run out and break eventually, so it is wise to savor them for when you really need them.

You will also discover an inactive android in the corner. Turn it on, and it will report to you.

- Steel -

A new metal added by the mod. It is stronger, reinforced iron. To make a steel ingot, you must smelt an iron block within a blast furnace. Steel tools have much longer lasting durability than regular iron tools, and are much faster. All technology is made of steel, and you can use it to repair broken-down robots, make energy storage bins, and make Antion Grenades.

- Positon and Antion -

Positon and Antion are powerful red and blue energy sources. They are opposites of each other, and are used to fuel the robots and technology within the game. As of version 1.0, You can only obtain these energy sources within the energy storage bins of the Steel Pod. Use an empty capsule to obtain the energy source, and you use them for ammunition for your guns. The storage bins only have up to four uses each, after that they will be empty. So make sure to savor these resources if you can. 

- The mod is designed to be loaded into a new Minecraft world, not loaded in an already created world. It will corrupt builds. You have been warned. -

This mod is still under development, so the story is not completed yet. There is much more to add, so stay tuned for more!
