What Several Things adds?

New ores :


Ruby Ore : A red ore, rarer than diamond. You need at least a diamond pickaxe or above (or an ultra iron pickaxe/ultra golden pickaxe/regular netherite pickaxe) to mine it. Tools and armors made with it are stronger than diamond ones and immune to fire. 

Sapphire Ore : A blue ore, rarer than ruby. You need at least a ruby pickaxe, or above, to mine it. (Or an ultra diamond pickaxe/ultra netherite pickaxe.) More powerful than ruby, it has effects relative to resistance and water. Tools and armors made with it are stronger than ruby ones and immune to fire.

Amethyst Ore : Not spawning as an ore as such, amethyst gems can be collected when breaking amethyst clusters inside vanilla amethyst geodes. For that, you need at least a sapphire pickaxe, or above. (Or an ultra ruby pickaxe/ultra netherite pickaxe.) More powerful than sapphire, it has effects relative to regeneration. Tools and armors made with it are stronger than sapphire ones and immune to fire.

Amber Ore : An orange ore, rarer than sapphire. You need at least a amethyst pickaxe, or above, to mine it. (Or an ultra sapphire pickaxe/ultra netherite pickaxe.) More powerful than amethyst, it has effects relative to experience. Tools and armors made with it are stronger than amethyst ones and immune to fire.

Crystal Ore : A pale blue ore, rare than amber. You need at least an amber pickaxe, or above, to mine it. (Or an ultra amethyst pickaxe/ultra netherite pickaxe.) More powerful than amber, it has effects relative to strength. Tools and armors made with it are stronger than amber ones and immune to fire.

Experience Ore : A special ore, spawing between the height 0 and 64, not used to craft tools or armors. Each time it's mined, the player gains three levels. Can be mined with anything, even with hands. 

Random Ore : An ore giving random ore loot when mined. You need at least a stone pickaxe, or above, to mine it. (Or an ultra wood pickaxe.)

Each ore has its deepslate version. Aside from the experience ore giving a little more experience, it's just longer to mine. 

Each ore has its associated block (except random and experience ore). 
 

Tools and armors :
 

Several Things adds tools and armors associated with the ores previously mentioned, but it also adds emerald tools/armors, which are equal in term of power and resistance to ruby ones. 

Each tool and each armor has an upgraded version. 
 

Upgrades :

 

Several Things adds two additionnal tiers for tools and armors. They can be upgraded in the Enhancer block, depending on your miner/hunter level. Plus, you can obtain perks based on your miner/hunter/crafter/survivor level.

 


 

Hybrid Tools


You can buy hybrid tools/chestplate at the special vending machines, activated with magnetic cards. 

Gemini Sword : an intermediate sword between the diamond and emerald swords. It has the special effects of their ultra version, but more powerful. 

Vega Sword : an intermediate sword between the ruby and sapphire swords. It has the special effects of their ultra version, but more powerful. 

Altar Pickaxe : an hybrid pickaxe between the gold and sapphire pickaxes. It has the special effects of their ultra version, but more powerful in term of effects and stats, thanks to gold. 

Hydra Pickaxe : an intermediate pickaxe between the iron and amber pickaxes. It has the special effects of their ultra version, but more powerful. 

Twins Chestplate : an hybrid chestplate between the gold and diamond chestplates. It has the special effects of their ultra version, but more powerful in term of effects and stats, thanks to gold. 
 

Copper Gem


The copper gem is one of the most important things in this mod. That gem is essential in a lot of recipes, for upgrading tools/armors, make stones, technological blocks, etc. It is dropped randomly when copper ore is mined. 
 

New curse : Experience Malediction


Each time you pick up experience orbs, you lose five points of experience.

Several Things adds a new dimension, with a mini quest and a boss to kill.

Technological blocks


Several Things adds a few technological blocks. The majority of these blocks does not need to be powered to function correctly. 


-Enhancer : Allows you to upgrade tools and armors, to buy perks and to see your levels stats.

-Experience Bank : Stores your experience. You can add or withdraw experience anytime you want. If powered, everyday, 100 experience points will be added to the block and a experience orb will spawn.

-Repairer : Restore 100 points of durability for three levels and one copper gem. 

-Recycler : Convert your item into experience points, depending of its value. Does not work on modded items and on a few vanilla items. 

-Vending Machines : There are several vending machines that can spawn inside the associated structure, the Vending Machines House. That structure, made with stones and woods, contain four vending machines and one daily vending machine at its center. For the basic vending machines, every 4000 ticks (3 minutes and 20 seconds) it's updated. For the daily, it's once in a day. The principe is simple : the player can pay the amount displayed in the gui of the machine for a random item displayed on the block. For the daily, it's even simpler : the player can pay the price indicated for the single item displayed. Sometimes, broken machines appear. You have to wait. 

-Levitators : These blocks give the Levitation effect to any entity walking on them. The more advanced is the block, the higher the entity will go. There are four levitators : Ruby Levitator, Sapphire Levitator, Amethyst Levitator and Amber Levitator. These blocks have the particularity to return to your inventory once you took off from the ground. If powered, they stay in place. 

-Chests : Larger storage than regular vanilla chests. The Ruby Chest is a little larger than the double normal chest. At each evolution (Sapphire > Amethyst > Amber), one page is added to the gui, doubling the amount of slots available.

Boxes


Now it's time to talk about boxes. Their function is very simple : a storage shared between all players. Similar to Ender Chests but portable and with an commun inventory accross players, these items can store one and anyone with the same box will see the item and can take it. There are four boxes : 

-Ruby Box : one slot.

-Sapphire Box : two slots.

-Amethyst Box : three slots.

-Amber Box : four slots.

Experience Sugar Cane


The Experience Sugar Cane is a rare plant spawning in surface and caverns. What are its particularities? Well, every 24 000 ticks (20 minutes), it grows (to a maximum of 3 blocks high) and release experience orbs. If broken, a random amount of experience points is released. Can be collected with shears.

Shurikens


Shurikens are homing head projectiles. There are four shurikens :

-Ruby Shuriken : Inflicts 8 damages to any entity it targets, in a radius of 30 blocks.

-Fire Shuriken : Can be obtained after throwing a Ruby Shuriken in water. Inflicts less damage than the Ruby Shuriken but put entities it touches on fire for 15 seconds. 

-Sapphire Shuriken : More powerful than the Ruby Shuriken. Inflicts 9 damages to any entity it targets, in a radius of 30 blocks.

-Healing Shuriken : Can be obtained after throwing a Sapphire Shuriken in lava. Heals entities it touches. (May only work on players if PVP is activated.)

Copper ores give experience when mined with this mod.

Amethyst Powder can be crafted with nine amethyst shards and smelted into amethyst gem.

5.7.7 :

-Now, every tools/armors created with a material with a quality at least equal to ruby will have an effect directly. This effect increases in term of power when you upgrade to the ultra version.

-Changed the way ultra wooden tools work : the ultra sword/axe inflict extra damage based on your health /2.

-Changed the way ultra stone tools work : the ultra sword/axe inflict extra damage based on your experience level /3.

-Changed the way ultra iron tools work : each time you kill a mob with an ultra iron axe/sword, you and players nearby gain a little experience. Each time you break ores with pickaxes, the same thing happen.

-Changed the way ultra iron armors work : each time you pick up experience orbs, you and players nearby gain experience.

-Changed the way golden tools work : each time you hit an entity with the axe/sword, you have one chance in thirty chance to regenerate the tool based on your experience level and to spawn an experience orb with an amount of experience calculated in fonction of the durability of your tool /10. It's the same thing with the pickaxe/shovel, except it happens when you break a block.

-Changed the way the ultra diamond tools work : each time you kill an entity with the sword/axe, you gain 1/5 of the experience needed to pass the next level. The ultra diamond pickaxe now functions completly differently : you can right click with it on a block (ores and stone/deepslate) to "upgrade" it, at the cost of levels and item durability.

-Changed the way the ultra diamond armor works. Now, health boost will be reset every 24000 ticks, with no hearts loss. ( They'll have to be regenerated, though.)

-Changed the way the ultra emerald tools work : if your level is superior to the entity's max health you attack, in exchange of one level, the entity targeted will take the amount of levels you have as damage. The pickaxe now gives you experience points multiplied by the harvest level of the block mined, with a coefficient 2.

-Changed the way the ruby tools work: pickaxes, shovels and axes will regenerate your armor and your item in left hand each time you break a block with them. Axes and swords will regenerate you each time you kill a mob with them.

-Changed the way ruby armors work : when you're about to die, if you're at least level 10/20/30 (depending on the piece of armor), in exchange of all your levels, your death is cancelled.

-Changed the way sapphire tools work : each time you kill an entity with the sword/axe, you regenerate the durability of your armor and item in left hand. The sapphire pickaxe has a little chance to make ores spawn each time you break a block with it.

-Changed the way sapphire armors work : when a mob hits you, it takes damage regarding of your current health.

-Changed the way the amethyst tools work : The amethyst pickaxe will mine 3x3. Same for the amethyst axes and shovels. The amethyst swords/axes now inflict damage to mob in a certain radius when you kill one.

-Changed the way the amethyst armors work : In a certain radius, almost all creatures will have their health halved by 1.3/1.6/2 (depending on the piece of armor). In return, each day, the wearer will lost levels of experience depending of his health. If the wearer has less than 10 levels, the armor will begin to suffer damage. Below ultra version, it affects only creatures with 20 health points or below. With the ultra version, creatures that have between 20 and 40 health points are also affected.

-Changed the way the crystal armors work : when a mob hits you, it takes damage equal to your experience level divided per 3/2.5/2, depending on the armor piece. In return, you lose experience proportional to the damage inflicted. When you're under the level 10, the damage inflicted to you are multiplied and directly inflicted to the armor.

-Changed harvest level of the ultra amethyst pickaxe to 7. (Was 6)

-The levels cost of the Repairer is again 3 levels.

-Ores of Several Things now drop orbs with experience instead of just dropping empty orbs and giving experience directly to the player.

-Complexified crafts regarding medkits.

-Deleted all advancements.

-Added amethyst ore blocks. They are not spawning naturally.

5.6.7 :

-Experience Sugar Cane has been nerfed. Now, it grows every 24 000 ticks instead of 18 000, and from now on its height is limited to 3.

5.6.6 : 

-Textures of Luck Medkit and Haste Medkit have being inverted.
-Fixed that effects ticks were not "unlimited" when using medkits. Instead of a few hours, the duration is now fixed to 57 real days. That should do it.
