📚BRIEF DESCRIPTION
Knight Quest is a knight adventure themed mod that adds over 20 armor sets. These armors can be crafted by attaining Great Essence, a somewhat rare item that can be gained from breaking Spawners or from rare items, like the Heart of the Sea!

Knight Quest, as of version 1.1.5, requires GeckoLib.
⚔️QUICK START
The mod can be easily learned with the in game Advancements menu! The process involves several items, namely, a Great Chalice, a Goblet and Great Essence!

🚧MECHANICS
The mod adds various Armor sets, a block(Chalice), several item Staves(Quality of Life Magical Items) and the core items for the mod, the Goblet and Great Essence.
The armor sets are for the most part Diamond Tiered armor, with the exception of certain armor sets, like the Wither set and the Enderdragon set. This mod is intended to be used mainly as a cosmetic pack, for mods like Cosmetic Armor mod.
Current Armors with Effects/Non Vanilla Stats:
Blaze Set: Diamond Defense, Grants the user a Fire Resistance.
Ocean Set: Diamond Defense, Grants the user the Conduit Power and Haste II while in water, allowing them to remain underwater similar to a conduit.
Spider Set: Diamond Defense, grants the user Night Vision and Jump Boost on sneak.
End Set: Diamond Defense, grants the user Slow Fall on Sneak, Higher Knockback Resist.
Enderdragon Set: Netherite Defense, Highest Knockback Resist in the game, excluding other mods.
Silverfish Set: Diamond Defense, Grants the user Haste I.
Wither Set: Netherite Defense, Grants the user Strengh II.
Items:
Water Stave:
- Acts like a bucket, leaves no bucket item in inventory.
- Hitting a Zombie will "Drown" it.
Air Stave:
- Right Clicking a soaked sponge will dry it.
- Right clicking water will remove it.
- Hitting a Drowned will "dry" it.
Lava Stave: - Acts like a lava bucket, leaves no bucket item in inventory.
- Hitting a mob will set it on fire.
Filled Goblet:
- Used to craft a full set of armor. (4 uses in a crafting table)
- Can be consumed/Eaten/Drunk?
Blocks:
Filled Great Chalice: When filled with great essence, it gains the following Interactions:
- Glass Bottle grants a Bottle o' Enchanting.
- Water bucket grants 64 Water Staves.
- Lava Bucket grants 16 Lava Staves.
- Flint & Steal grants 64 Dry Staves.
- Empty Goblet grants a Filled Goblet.
- Emanates Redstone signals!

Category: Boss Fight
Read The First Font if you wish to find it. Careful with this fight, it can easily destroy dropped items. Be ready. Proceed with caution, and move away from the spot from where you beckoned it.

- God Stave is now legacy
God Stave
The God stave is only attainable in creative mod. Its purpose serves for map configuration.
While holding it, type the following in lowercase within chat:
- knight quest mob spawn true/false
- knight quest magic true/false
- knight quest armor effects true/false
Example: knight quest armor effects false will turn off armor effects.
By default, all settings are true.
This is the best I can do for now when it comes to settings.
📜DEVELOPER NOTES
Why the mod?
I've always enjoyed customizing my characters in games. Vanilla Minecraft only contains one late game set and that's okay. This mod, with the aid of cosmetic armor mod, aims to add a plethora of choices to the visual and mechanical aspects of that without increasing Minecraft's current armor tiers.
Is this Vanilla Friendly or Vanilla+?
Probably not, its hard to say. Certain armor sets add effects but Netherite still serves as a general purpose high quality gear set.
Fabric Support?
I will not be porting this mod to fabric.
Is this related to the Armor souls mod?
This mod acts like a spiritual successor to the Armor Souls mod. They are two mods with different foundations. Armor Souls aimed to solely add armor sets, where's Knight Quest is an adventure themed mod, making what can be added to it more varied.
What can we expect in the future?
You might expect more armor sets, armor set effects, items and perhaps some rare mobs.

No plans for that at the moment. The models were made with Mojamaps 1.17, 1.18, it would be quite a task to do so.

Knight Quest 1.2.6, Bug Fix Patch

After resisting the urge to play Darktide(A video game about killing heretics) for a bit, I tried fixing some issues with the mod.
Gamerules:
-Added new Mob conversion chance gamerule, that will allow you to control the conversion chance of certain mobs turning into knight quest monsters after the gates are open. Do NOT set this value too high. Its intended to remain below 25 or you'll encounter buggy behavior.
Mobs:
-Fixed a host of bugs causing certain mobs not to spawn after the gates were open. New conversion system implemented. When the gates are open, certain mobs under certain conditions will transform into a knight Quest mob.
-Fixed an Undead mob not burning during the daylight.
-The One Who Fell no longer resets world time. It uses an additive method to change the time. It may forward your world by a day if you fight it.
Items:
-Buffed repair item recipes, they now grant 16 items in place of 12.
-Possibly Fixed a crashed related to the Font items on servers.
MCreator Stuff:
-Upgraded MCreator version, might fix certain compatibility issues, unsure yet.
-Upgraded Nerdy's Geckolib Plugin for MCreator, might fix certain compatibility issues, unsure yet.

Excellent Mod overall, love the fantasy aspects and the armour designs are *chefs kiss*. However, I was wondering how you manged to get the tabard item to work in the leggings armour slot, while also having a body. The reason I ask is that have been inspired by this mod to do a similar thing to my own mod, however, I cannot get mine to work. Any advice would be appreciated.
