Minecraft is a wonderful game. It promotes creativity and does a great job at being both entertaining and challenging to newer players. Though a sandbox game at heart, Minecraft also has an almost poetic progression for going deep underground for iron and then diamonds, followed by stepping foot into a blocky hell is search of rods made of fire to combine with otherworldly pearls to then enter the aptly-named End dimension to slay the great Ender Dragon. It is a path to victory and closure that is both entertaining and challenging...
...if you're a noob.
I've been playing Minecraft since 2011, and while I'm not even the best survival Minecraft player out there, I still think that I could beat the game in my sleep. It's just become all too familiar. Thus, I began searching the internet for the perfect mod or modpack to breathe life back into Minecraft's old, stale progression that remained mostly unchanged since the game has even had a progression at all. But the issue with most well-known progression mods out there is that they don't even feel like Minecraft anymore. Sure, many of them are really well done, but they feel like an entirely different game, not the kind of revitalized Minecraft experience I've dreamt of.
So despite only knowing the bare basics of coding, I decided to take matters into my own hands. Through this experience, I've learned and am still learning, and I hope to create a mod that successfully marries vanilla's simplistic nature and the progression of my dreams. Sick of survival Minecraft's short progression? Want a mod that keeps the best parts of what Minecraft is but expands progression tenfold? Want to turn that hour-long survival experience into a twenty-hour one that will stick with you? This is the mod for you.
And if you think this mod is only about progression, sure it's in the mod's name, but so am I. And I want more than that. Dozens upon dozens of more building blocks at your disposal, 30+ new tool tiers past netherite, 20+ new biomes, 15+ new crops, 50+ new mobs, four new dimensions, a stupid number of new advancements, and at least one meme item. When I plan, I plan big.
From planning to where I am now, this mod has already been a year in the making. I want to give survival Minecraft the progression that it deserves.
If you've read this far, thank you, it means a lot. I'll keep my progress on this mod updated as I go, and if you have any tips or tricks that I should know in making a mod like this, please let me know!
(You'll notice below the file is called EBP Lite, it's basically an astronomically scaled-down version of what this mod is going to be.)

-I'll post updates here when I'm ready-
Some Images of the mod may be nice to include on the page.
