Support for Minecraft 26.1.x is here in the first snapshot of MCreator 2026.2. Alongside, some noticeable library updates and bug fixes were made too.
3 Minecraft versions?
While this release supports 3 Minecraft versions, the full release of MCreator 2026.2 will only support the 1.21.1 LTS version and Minecraft 26.1.x, as it is now a common practice with recent MCreator-supported Minecraft version updates.

Finally, it released🔥
The Common/Uncommon/Buying slots are a really welcome change, thank you so much, I truly appreciate it🙏
I’m kinda disappointed that spears, even though they’re tiered weapons, still haven’t been added to the Tool element😔
Do you know if there’s any way to make spears behave like the actual Minecraft spears using code or something?
I also thought there would be another section allowing us to choose a separate unique texture for baby entities. I designed unique baby textures for all the mobs in my mod for vein🫤
Overall, I really appreciate all the effort and hard work you put into this amazing mod creator program. Keep up the fantastic work✨
New features are never added during the snapshot porting to a newer version. We put all our efforts on porting existing code and only then, we continue adding new features. You are welcome to contribute to the code base and help us go faster. :) https://github.com/MCreator/MCreator
Is the 26.1 support only for NeoForge ?
