Topic category: Minecraft mod ideas exchange
Hi everyone,
I'm avrona, I'm not really into mods, nor do I ever use them, but I decided to get into mod making recently. I am currently working on a mod called "Ancient Cities", which adds lots of remains and lifestyle elements from these primitive people for you to explore and exploit. So does anyone have any ideas for interesting elements that I could add? It's my first mod so all advice is welcome. I already added things like herbs, new blocks with patterns drawn by these people, and some foods and items to make from these herbs. Right now I am working on a new dimension. So any ideas?
you could try to make a pompeii-like village where the buildings are made of stone, the crops are coal ore, and the doors and windows have been turned to obsidian. It depends on your definition of "ancient"
I dont know how to get the structures to generate though. All my attempts at such failed.
Thanks. I have created a survey about the mod. Filling it out would mean a lot: https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/B23NHYL

OK, I <3 (love (or ice cream idk anyway)) sharing my mod ideas so here u are:
Hopefully these are enough for now...
If you need more, PM me or email me (email at givingmodideas@gmail.com). If you need textures make a post on minecraftforum or talk to another user, I'm a noob at texturing and modeling D:
Pyramids, triremes, sling, Minotaur, scroll/scroll shelf, The Labrynth Dimension.
marble floors, wall paintings, secret passages
You could add some powerful tools made from pieces that are hard to get so you can get into some places where even diamond pickaxes can't even break.
Maybe a custom enchant (3x3 mining or autosmelt) in mines?
