Topic category: Minecraft mod ideas exchange
This is the official topic for RaolCraft Omega.
Here I will write comments about future updates, changelogs, etc.
You can post here bug reports, suggestions, opinions, etc.
If you want a guide about the mod you can go here instead: https://github.com/raoldev/RaolCraft-Omega/wiki
If you want you can also reply to this survey:
(you can reply to only a few questions if you want )
In your opinion, what needs to be improved?
What should be removed?
What textures need to be changed?
Did you like playing this mod?
What's your favorite feature?
OLD STUFF:
I'm sorry that I am not making updates for RaolCraft 3 but I'm having some problems with internet connection (yes again)
Anyways, when I will have back the good internet connection I will release new little mods instead of updating RaolCraft.
The mods will be released in a single mod page because they will be like a modpack.
What mod should I make first?
Raol's Improved Vanilla
This mod will improve Vanilla minecraft without changing the gameplay (like Quark or Craft Horizons). Some features will be taken from RaolCraft (Raolcraft 1 was intended to be like a Minecraft update).
Raol's Furniture mod
It's simply a furniture mod.
Raol's Clothes mod
Inspired by Killer Unicorns's Clothes+ mod.
Raol's Garden
A mod that adds more plants
(yes all of them start with Raol's because there may be other mods with similar names and also so they are all next to each other.)
Why am I doing this?
Because RaolCraft 3's workspace is broken and when importing it I need to fix an hundred of bugs and so it's better to make another mod.
Do you prefer another remake? RaolCraft Omega Edition XD
RaolCraft 1 reached 35 mod elements
RaolCraft 2 reached 200+ mod elements
RaolCraft 3 reached 900+ mod elements
RaolCraft Ω maybe will reach 4500 mod elements XD just joking
Thank you for the suggestions and the compliment :)
I already plan to improve the textures of the Pathmakers, but since you asked it, I will change it in the next update :)
What do you mean by glitched out?
I know many ores are useless. I am slowly adding more uses to them, the next updates will focus on that too.
Anyway, if you want to check all the uses of an ore, you should also check what are the ore's block and dust used for (for example, the Copper Dust can be used to make 2 different alloys (while you can't combine Copper Ingot itself), Zinc's only use right now is to be turned into a dust to make either a Depulverizing Smelter or Brass, the Lead Block is used to craft many machines, Silver Dust can be used to create Mana, etc.).
glitched out: the bush looks like a green cube.
If you mean the growing bushes, then they are supposed to be green cubes that slowly grow. (Even if it they are weird, I will change them in a future update to make them look more similar to Sweet Berry Bushes from Minecraft 1.14).
Right now, Wild Bushes (the ones you find in the wild) look like Sweet Berries, while Growing Bushes (the ones you craft and that grow) are growing green cubes. If they don't look like this, then there is a bug.
A RaolCraft Omega update is coming soon too :D
The RaolCraft and the Hodge-Podge updates will be released in the same day!
I have just discovered the Coral Bow is extremely OP. I will fix that in the next update.
Anyway, here is a bit more info on the update:
It was first planned to be called 2.0.2 and to be just a little bugfixing update that also adds a feature that can only be obtained if you are also playing Hodge-Podge III...
Now, after adding a few new Amulets, status effects and stuff I decided it was going to be too big to be considered just a bugfixing update and I renamed it to 2.1. It will add some of the features that were originally planned for 2.1 (Superior Wands and lategame stuff), while the others will be added in 2.2.
woohoo! Can you fix the bush thing too? It is really weird, like it dosen't fit in the world of Minecraft
am I the only one here?
and please can you continue the guide on the forum?
OK, I will make Growing Bushes similar to Wild Bushes, like in Vanilla 1.14 :) (I said similar, but I won't simply duplicate the vanilla textures)
Anyway, I can't continue writing the guide right now because I'm on mobile and I forgot some names and I need the computer to see how are the blocks called XD
If you are asking this, does it mean you have already been to the first 4 dimensions and beaten their bosses? I thought that required a bit more time XD
I didn't finish them, I just think you should update it because it is kinda OLD
Old? But the last time I updated it was 2 days ago... It's not old, just incomplete. It describes just half of the mod's progression, but the few things it says are updated to the last version (2.0.1)
Are we speaking of the same guide? Maybe you are reading one of the old guides on pastebin, the new one is this: https://mcreator.net/forum/44384/raolcraft-omega-getting-started-wiki
I mean incomplete yes.
Raol, you should change the mod name to Siege Of Darkness.
Or Siege Of Darkness(Raolcraft Omega)
I don't think I will change the name. I know RaolCraft is a bad name, but it has always been that for years (RaolCraft Omega is the remake of RaolCraft 3 which is the remake of RaolCraft 2 which is the remake of RaolCraft which is 3 years old. Wow, time flies).
I think I will rename it if it will be remade again or when it will be ported to 1.13/1.14 (I don't know if forge developers are going to skip 1.13)
