Biomes You Go (for short) is an adventure and exploration mod designed to give you a unique and fun experience with challenges and obstacles!

"You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself in any direction you choose. You're on your own. And you know what you know. And YOU are the one who'll decide where to go" -Dr. Seuss, Oh, The Places You'll Go!

Author's Message: Hi! This new update brings back bookshelves and this time they actually work with enchanting tables! New biomes and a return of the Ancient Forest, I also forgot to mention, right-clicking a flower bush with shears will turn it into a plain bush so you can craft other flower bushes. I hope ya'll appreciate the new structures as well. more villages and structures are planned for the next update! Also, mod reviews would be heavily appreciated!

 Mod Made with Mcreator

Latest supported Minecraft version
1.12.2
Release type
Stable
Changelog

Changelog 1.5.2:

-Reduced Structure spawn rates on Bayou Hut, Bayou Village, & Marauder's Port

-Changed Biome Grass Colors for Praire, and Bamboo Forest

-Updated Brown, Orange, and Dry Oak Leaf Textures

-Updated Mud & Mud Brick textures

-{Bug} Required an older version of forge to run

Well for every biome I never use the default biome tree thingy that lets you use 1 schematic. All BYG trees and such like the podzol patches are structures that are limited to the biome which is why they can be a bit buggy sometimes XD

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5WqIb7N9sTU (use this video which i just realized you asked me before about custom schematics xD)

The trick is restricting the structure to Grass Blocks so that podzol patches are in the ground and trees don't go on water and such (most of the time). do note that anytime you make a structure this way always make it 1 block taller than you want it to be so that when it spawns its not too short as it will always be 1 block in the ground :)

I would like to say that this mod is AMAZING it really shows so much and work put into it and I congratulate you. I would like to recommend posting this on curse-forge as I am sure that it would be very popular.

Thankyou so much! And BiomesYouGo is already on PMC & Curse-Forge and lots of other third party websites that I didn't upload it to. From the data I can collect this mod is almost at 30k and that doesn't include third-party downloads that I can't track :D (Also 339 downloads from mcreator is lie! when they changed the website it reset my downloads!!!)

I didn't know that you can post your mod in other sites. Great mod!

Hi! Thankyou for the compliment and regarding mod posts. So I've actually only officially posted this mod on Mcreator, Curseorge, & Planet Minecraft. However 3rd party sources, if allowed to, can post your mod on their websites as long as they give credit and link back to the original creator (you). But yes you can always post your mods on other websites just be sure to include that it was made using Mcreator and check that website's policies because some don't allow Mcreator mods :)
