ExtraResources is a mod that takes what Minecraft already has and builds upon it. This mod contains new materials to use for various purposes, and has new mobs, a new biomes, new crafting stations, new structures, and new bosses in order to utilize these materials. You'll also have to explore many of the vanilla biomes in order to gather these resources,

This mod is also constantly changing as well. Found a bug? Think something should be changed? Let me know in the comments, and I'll try to fix/change the thing you commented on. I'm going to try to constantly tweak and fix things until they are how they should be. Trying to beat the mod? Good luck, you'll need it, especially because this mod is pretty difficult, especially in the early game.

 

NOTES: This mod changes the value of vanilla items. For example, diamonds are much easier to obtain, so diamond would have less value. This mod isn't particularly great for modpacks because of these vanilla item value changes.

Hello! This update is a major bugfix and tweaking update, as I wanted to fix a lot of bugs before I ported this mod to other platforms. Here are the bugfixes and tweaks:

  • BUG FIXES:
    • Fixed a bug where other structures could replace the chest in a Power Plant.
    • Fixed several naming errors.
    • Fixed recipes bugs. Now, most recipes are given you once you join a world.
    • Fixed spawn rates with Magic Mirrors and Shattered Mirrors.
    • Fixed a bug where Drones would be incredibly fast on the ground.
    • Fixed a bug where Passive Walkers wouldn't be tamed when spawned.
    • Fixed the Terminal.
  • TWEAKS:
    • Changed the attack value of Nanite from 6 to 2.
    • Walkers will now have a 3:00 whenever it turns daytime or on spawn.
    • Complexes are rarer and only spawn in biomes with grass.
    • Mining Wells can now only spawn on regular beach biomes.
    • Ancient Debris is more common in Mining Wells.
    • Alarm blocks can be picked up.
    • Lockboxes crafted by players can now be mined.
    • Revamped pipes. Now they are no longer pain.
    • Added a Pipe Wrench to be able to use the new pipes.
    • Old pipes can be crafted into the new ones.
    • Added Smithing Recipe Guidebooks for recipes requiring the Smithing Table.
    • Lost Shrines now spawn over twice as frequently in Lush Caves.
    • Statues are now easier to craft.
