Hello! This is a mod about axolotls. These cute little salamanders are a big part in my life (as I own ~30 of them) and are very under-represented in this community. Because of this, I thought it would be best to make a mod about them! This is my first mod, so it's going to start off very basic. This mod will stay as 1.12.2 for the time being.
I'll be working to improve on:
- the axolotl textures
- the axolotl models
- adding new axolotl-themed items
- more animations for the axolotls (yawning, swimming, rising)
- their in-game preformance (making them a water creature, etc)
- some sounds (axolotl "barking", swimming)
- gameplay features (maybe adding an axolotl dragon)

- made new models and textures for the axolotls
- added "freeze-dried shrimp" and "worm"
- added "shrimp nest" and "worm dirt" (drops 3 shrimp and worm, respectively)
- added a creative tab for food and blocks (doesn't include eggs, those are in misc)
- added two new axolotl types: "mudkip" and "ender"
