Overview

Better Tools and Armor is not just another overpowered toolpack mod. It aims to overhaul Minecraft's progression system by extending it past Netherite and adding more player choice, all while encouraging exploration.
Many new ores and resources are added, each of which spawning in unique locations.
Every tool/armor-set in the mod is designed to have a unique feel to it. For example, Sapphire tools can freeze your opponents!

On top of all this, BT+A adds a whole heap of other features designed to fit well into Survival Minecraft, with a kind of vanilla-plus feel to them. Check out the Images Tab (on CurseForge), and the Knowledge Base (Google Doc) for more information!

Major Additions

As of v11.0, Better Tools and Armor adds:

**Version 11.1.1 Patch Notes**
- Ice Staffs now correctly freeze mobs for a longer time in cold biomes, rather than when *not* in a cold biome.
- Ice Staff dynamic tooltip now displays Freeze Time correctly.
- Icy Bracelet no longer counts damage from Thorns as a melee attack
- Changed the Crystallite Cluster sparkle sound effect. It is now more noticeable
- Fixed an issue with Crystallite Clusters where the sparkling sound would sometimes continue, even after a cluster had already been discovered.
- Fixed an issue where mobs Frozen by an attack would sometimes be instantly shattered.

**Major additions:**

**Crystallite changes:**
- Added Crystallite Bow. Every upgrade set has its own upgraded Bow.
- Iron-Crystallite weapons now only give a Knockback boost of +2, rather than +3.
- Lapis-Crystallite Pickaxe now always drops drops 5 extra XP points when an ore is broken, instead of doubling the ore's original dropped XP.
- Netherite-Crystallite armor now has a full-set bonus. It deals Thorns damage to all mobs in close proximity to the player, when a full set is worn.
- Thorns Damage from Cactus Shirts or Netherite-Crystallite armor is no longer capped at 7.
- Emerald-Crystallite Chestplate and Nature Ring cooldowns have been shortened and simplified.
- Various situational speed-boosting effects have been buffed from +20% to +30%.
- Icy Bracelet now always adds a 10% Freeze chance, or 20% chance when in a cold biome.
- Shockwave damage from Amethyst-Crystallite Boots has been buffed to be similar to that of the Mace, from Minecraft 1.21.
- Shockwave damage now falls off with a mob's distance from the shockwave's center.
- Knockback from the Sky-Crystallite Chestplate is now constant, regardless of the distance between the attacker and the wearer.
- Arrows reflected by a Reflect Charm now deal slightly more damage.

**Reworks:**
- Topaz weapons now cause 'electric chains' which damage any mob they chain onto. These chains can continue spreading onto more nearby mobs, with a given chance.
- Gold-Crystallite Sword & Dagger have been reworked - They now have the Spin Attack ability. This damages all mobs in close proximity to the player, whenever they swing the weapon.
- Diamond-Crystallite weapons have been reworked - They now deal more damage to foes on full HP.
- Emerald-Crystallite Sword & Dagger have been reworked - They now have the Pitfall ability. This traps a mob in the ground for 5s, on a critical hit.
- Guardian Necklace has been reworked - It now deals damage periodically to nearby hostile mobs.

**Changes to Magic Staffs:**
- Lightning Staff now strikes in a random location, in a 5x5 box around the target.
- Lightning Staff cooldown is now 10s, to match the other staffs.
- Warden Staff now always shoots in a perfectly straight line, even through walls.
- Warden Staff now hurts all mobs in range of the sonic boom.
- Changed Guardian Staff sound effect when used.
- Changed Guardian Staff base stats. It now deals 6 damage, with a radius of 3 blocks.
- Added Ensorcellation enchantment. This makes a Magic Staff's effect more powerful. It has 3 levels.
- When enchanted with Ensorcellation:
    - Fire Staff - projectiles explode. Power increases with level, and when in the Nether.
    - Ice Staff - area of effect. Radius increases with level, and when in a cold biome.
    - Lightning Staff - multiple strikes in an area. Amount increases with level, and in a thunderstorm.
    - Warden & Guardian Staffs - increased damage and range. Damage and range increase with level.
- Added Swift Cast enchantment. This shortens the cooldown of a Magic Staff. It has 3 levels, and the cooldown is reduced by 15% (1.5s) per level.
- Projectile Staffs enchanted with Ensorcellation have a short cooldown between shooting projectiles, even if they do not hit. This cooldown is shortened if the staff has Swift Cast.
- Removed enchantment glint from all Staffs, by default.
- Staff projectiles no longer rebound off any entity.

**Dynamic Tooltips:**
- Added 'dynamic tooltips' to various items which change depending on various factors, including enchantments, location and equipment worn.
- Added dynamic tooltips to all the following items and enchantments:   (Item/Ench. - Information)
- Magic Staffs - Damage, Effect, Cooldown
- All Bows now show the Arrow's damage value (not the actual damage dealt).
- Vanilla Bow enchantments: Flame, Punch, Power

- Added even more advancements, relating to new features and utility potions.
- Removed XP rewards from easy advancements
- Added XP rewards for challenging advancements, proportional to their difficulty.
- Advancements for getting a full set of tools now only require **either** a sword or a dagger, not both.
- All Crystallite Tools advancement now requires all tools to be upgraded.
- Full set of Crystallite Armor advancement now requires all armor pieces to be upgraded.
- Replaced Topaz Armor advancement with a new one for Electric Chaining.
- Replaced Nether Diamond tools advancement with a full set of Nether Diamond armor advancement.
- "Crit Mattered" advancement now requires 2.5x Crit Multiplier, to make it more challenging
- Renamed various advancements
- Removed Ender Titanium armor advancement

**Integration with other Mods:**
- Prismarine-Crystallite hoes now function the same as Neptunium Hoes, when Aquaculture is installed.
- Create:
    - Added crushing recipes for all Ores, which give more drops than usual.
    - Added crushing/milling recipe for Four Leaf Clover.
    - Added haunting recipe for utility potions and Blackstone Magma.
- Added loot to mobs spawned from Quark's Monster Boxes.
- Added JEI Information to show which items in the mod can be obtained from Supplementaries Cave Urns or Quark Monster Boxes.

**Tooltips and GUI:**
- Cleaned up some Crystallite armor tooltips, by hiding the full-set bonus behind pressing Shift.
- Gold-upgraded Crystallite items now use Yellow text, rather than Gold, to differentiate them from Topaz- and Honey-upgraded items.
- Many items which become more powerful in certain areas now clearly show this in their tooltip.
- Added JEI Information to many items with hidden extra features.
- Added JEI Information explaining more complicated secondary effects for some items.
- Added JEI Information for all Ore generation.
- Added a new game rule: displayDamageValues. It displays the damage dealt by any player attacks in a chat message. This is used for debugging, but can be accessed using commands. It is off by default.
- Daggers and Consumables now appear in more than one creative tab.
- Creative tab order is now more neatly laid out, especially the Crystallite tab.
- Minor text changes and corrections throughout the mod.

**Fixes:**
- Redstone-Crystallite weapons correctly heal 2HP when at 25% HP or below, rather than below 30%
- Arrows shot by a player wearing an Amethyst-Crystallite Helmet now deal correct damage.
- Arrows shot by a player wearing a Reflect Charm are no longer reflected by another player wearing the charm. This is to prevent infinite bouncing and game crashes.
- The Reflect Charm now only reflects projectiles shot by an entity.
- The Reflect Charm no longer blocks all damage from thrown Tridents and Fireworks.
- Fixed a bug where the Critical Hit Multiplier boost from the Criticality effect would be lost upon relogging, even though the effect would still be active.
- Sugar Blocks now correctly have Shovels as their preferred tool for breaking.
- Better Painting and Item Frame recipes now replace the vanilla recipes, rather than appearing alongside them.
- Loot can no longer generate with incorrect enchantments. For example, a helmet with Curse of Karma.
- Smelting Touch can now only appear on Pickaxes.
- Magic Staffs, Obsidian Sticks and Blue Slime Sticks are now shown correctly in the player's hand, when viewed in 3rd person.
- Cherry Treehouses now spawn again, having been absent since v11.0
- Blackstone Magma Blocks no longer deal damage to sneaking players.
- Crystallite and Ender Titanium tools now correctly show their Harvest Level, when using the Tool Stats mod.
- Fixed broken death message for Curse of Karma.
- Arrows no longer rebound off Frozen mobs.

**Other changes:**
- Nether Diamond weapon base fire chance is now 25%
- Ender Titanium weapon Damage boost, when in the End, has been buffed to +3, from +2.5
- When a Bow with Thunder Shot shoots a lightning rod, a lightning bolt is now summoned.
- Frozen mobs now appear inside an Ice block display entity, which is broken when the entity is shattered, or the effect expires.
- Frozen mobs can now be shattered with arrows shot from a Bow with Freeze Shot.
- Thunderstorm-boosted effects now only work if the location can see the sky.
- Curse of Karma now deals damage equal to its level, if cheats are used to obtain the enchantment at a higher level.
- Removed special ingredients from Sapphire & Topaz weapons and armor (Blue Ice and Lightning Rods respectively).
- The crafting recipe for Red Ice now gives 8 blocks.
- Blackstone Magma Blocks are now equally likely at any height in the Nether.
- Blackstone Magma Blocks now only generate near lava in Basalt Deltas.
- Added a recipe for Descension Potion -> Ascension Potion
- Added a recipe for Recall Potion -> Lost Souls Potion
- Poison Mushroom damage now bypasses armor and enchantments.
- Gold, Emerald, Ruby and Topaz metallic building blocks' recipes now give 32 blocks, up from 24.
- Nether Diamond metallic building blocks' recipes now give 48 blocks, up from 24.
- Redstone metallic building blocks no longer require Honeycomb in their recipe.

Looks pretty great, but I would avoid putting licensed music in your mod since you most likely don't have the rights to use it in this way.
