Celesteus
The new dimension, Celesteus, is a collection of floating islands, similar to a mix of the Overworld and End. There are 7 biomes within including, Plains, Arbor Forest, Glimshade Grove, Elven Forest, Divine Valley, Dunes, and Frigid Tundra. Each with its own themes, more biomes will be added in later updates. The islands will usually have a tiered layout with multiple 'floors' to explore, however the islands generation will vary greatly and differ between biomes. Each biome has unique block sets, plants, mobs and trees. A new stone type and stone variants along with dirt and grass exist here.
There are also lots of structures to explore in Celesteus, the Celesteial Stronghold, the Guilds, the Sand Tomb, the Magic Tower, the Flesh Sac, and Yggdrasil.
The entire mod content is contained within the Celesteus dimension. Other than the Celestial Stronghold which is the structure used to enter Celesteus. The stronghold can be found with an Eye of Celesteus. This can be obtained by defeating the Ender Dragon, it is also necessary to activate the portal to Celesteus. If you wish to skip this you can use the gamerule: [WorthyCandidateOverride] set to TRUE and you will no longer have to defeat the Ender Dragon as a prerequisite to enter Celesteus.
Blocks and Items
Heaven's Deus adds many new blocks and items including 4 new ore tiers post netherite, as well as a netherite comparable ore. Steel, Mithril, Orichalcum, Adamantine and Vermyr, additonally there exists Cold Steel and Bright Gold however these are not regular ore. There are also 4 new wood types, new stone, two new grass and dirt types, stone variants as well as other unique blocks. There are lots of useful items used for trade, crafting and food too. There are 5 new villager professions which can be found in Celesteus through the Guild structure.
In the Guild Structure you can access the Guild Dungeon. This is a time trial based dimensional dungeon, upon entering you have 5 minutes to explore, loot and fight until you are ejected from the dungeon. There will be 10 levels of the dungeon, each getting harder as you go. In order to reach the next level you must locate the portal within your 5 minutes to get to the next level, this will grant you another 5 minutes of time to spend in the dungeon. You can also start on a specific level depending on the level of your Guild License, a higher class license allows you to start on a higher level.
There are also lots of magical and legendary weapons with abilities. These are either activated with mana or built in like an enchantment. There are also magic spells, using a rune stone system where you apply up to 4 runes onto a spell scroll to create a custom spell. Currently only 1 rune per scroll is implemented however the full system will hopefully be released by update 1.5. There are 8 different rune stones, each having different elements and abilities. To obtain a rune stone either find a Rune Chomper who you can use a mystery box for rune stones using ore nuggets as payment, or by finding them if you're lucky in structures or mob loot drops. Some bosses have higher chances of dropping a rune stone and there are also mini bosses which guarantee a rune stone drop.
You will automatically obtain mana when entering Celesteus, more mana can be obtained by consuming shards from the various races across Celesteus. You can also find mysterious obelisks which grant you mana. Other ways exist for you to find out.
Mobs and Creatures
There are loads of entities within Heaven's Deus, most want to kill you. Mainly each entity has a collection, this is based on their race and so each race has a few entities. There are: goblins, elves, living-flesh, trolls, and ogres, as well as other miscellaneous creatures which may or may not be expanded upon in future updates as complete races/species. These races will be expanded upon in future updates as well as potential to add more races for biome diversity. Each race of entities usually exist in separate biomes.
Bosses
Currently there are 5 Main Bosses each with their own dungeon type structure. The Main Bosses have a set order based on their difficulty but realistically can be fought whenever. There is; Ia, the Celestial Guardian, Nazoroth, Keeper of Eternity; Diablos, the Specter of the Void; Kharvex, the Flesh Tyrant; and Nyxor, the Corrupted King.
