Topic category: User side tutorials
Hey everyone! I know many might think this tutorial is useless, but not for me! Today, im going to explain you how to install Utility Mods to your MCreator Workspace's client
A small list of utility mods peoples like :
JustEnoughItems
Damage Indicators Mod
Let's get started!
Step 1. Create a Workspace
Creating a Workspace is essential for it to work. The workspace is where you build and test your mod.
Step 2. Download the Utility Mods
Now, you have to download the Utility Mods. I will install JustEnoughItems for the items and Damage Indicators to see if my damage-boosting items work
Step 3. Find your MCreator workspaces folder
It should be located in
C:\Users\YourUser\MCreatorWorkspaces\
If you haven't modified it
Step 4. Open the workspace you want the mods to be in
You can repeat the following steps for every workspaces, if you want it to be in every
Step 5. Open the " run " folder inside the workspace
Run contains most of the Minecraft content of your workspace, like the screenshots
Step 6. Paste the mods in the mods folder
Now you have them
Step 7. Done!
You can now just run your game with the mods and see if it works! Somes might not work because of the MCreator's forge version, so find lower or higher versions and see if they work
Have a nice day!
Note : JeI's latest version isn't compatible with MCreator - download JeI 4.144.263
Damage Indicator's latest version is compatible with it, though, but crashes the game.

add stuff in the list:
Hwyla
Walia Harvestability
Journey Map
Optfine
Nice tutorial :)
I would also recommend these mods:
@RaolTheBest
can you give me the link for the mapmaker thing?
https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/mapmakers-gadgets
Every edit you do with this mod should work even after the mod is removed, except if you use Tiny Spawners I think, because they aren't present in vanilla and their id is added by the mod
thx
I tried installing world edit it was working up until the last setup it said something like world edit encountered an error why is that?
For me it says that the mod couldnt load (I have a Main Mod and an Addon which uses some items of the main mod in its recipes) On the top it says in red "Error loading mods 1 error has occurred during loading" there are 2 Buttons on the Bottom One: Open mods Folder and the Second: Open latest.log I even tried switching the sides (Putting the .jar of the current mod to that of the other) and now it says that the other mod couldnt load.
Both mods are on 1.14
Does mcreator work for journeymap mod? I tried it on both 1.14 and 1.15. I'm getting following error:
[journeymap.common.log.LogFormatter:toString:25]: java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: net.minecraft.client.Minecraft.func_71410_x()Lnet/minecraft/client/Minecraft;
Please help!
This error means you are using wrong Forge version
Or if in test env., you need deobf. version of the mod
You guys know any Damage Indicator mod that works on MCreator?
Torohealth is now for Fabric
Ama's Damage Indicator doesnt work in MCreator
mods work, but you would need a deobf version cuz the Minecraft environment is obfuscated....
So how do I change the forge version in MCreator. It may not be possible to change the version used for journeymap-api.
I don't think you can
