MCreator 1.9.2 Community Requests

Hi !

First of all, I’m glad to see that almost everyone talk on my Community Requests topic, even the Developers. When I started the first topic to the 1.8.2, I didn’t think that will use by a lot of people and the Developers look the topic to get lot of ideas. The last Community Requests had 144 comments, so just thanks you to take these topics for the "official" topics.

 

The 1.9.1 is finally out, so here we go for a new forum topic !

Post your ideas here for the version 1.9.2, but check on the tracker and the changelog before please !

I’m glad to see that almost everyone talk on my Community Requests topic, even the Developers. When I started the first topic to the 1.8.2, I didn’t think that will use by a lot of people and the Developers look the topic to get lot of ideas. So, I will also give my ideas.

1- Create AI for the mobs ans possibility to export/import them like for the procedures.

2- More AI tasks for mobs, like Attack only when "and the condition"

3- Possibility to change the larger of a biome, like for the river.

4- Possibility to say to the game to generate a specific biome around or beside a biome.

5- Possibility to edit and create mob texture into the new Texture Editor.

6- A place to see all NBT Tags we have created and Vanilla tags with their function (like mobs, items, blocks, etc.).

7- In the Mod Options, when we click on Esc, there is all mods installed, and when we click on them, there is a Configuration button. So, I would like to have an option into MCreator to add some a mod element or something else to add configuration options.

8- Possibility to import animated textures into the same file  in the animation texture maker. For exemple, the prismarine block has an animated texture, but it is the same texture file.

9- (I know that can be very hard/difficult to do, but I try.) A procedure block to teleport the player of a specific place to an other place, but the player travel into the two places. I am not sure if I explain properly, but what I want to say, it’s a new procedure block who make a travel into two positions like a camera path. I believe that can be very useful to some mods and to make new mods very original.

10- My last suggestion for this list is again a new procedure block, but this time is to get the text that the player has written into the text box in a GUI. I mean that the procedure block don’t just get the text and look if it’s the same text that inti the condition, but get every text written inti the Text Box (box like in the command block). So, I have a procedure to say to the player what he had written into the Text box. The player write "I love MCreator.". My procedure will get the text and put it in a Text Variable. After, I will send a message to the player with the Text Variable who contains the text of the player ("I love MCreator,").

 

I hope to have be clear with my suggestions and my descriptions. If you have questions with something ask me, and I will give you more explanations.

It wouldn't have to be based on anything. Just a set of face (left/right/top/bottom/front/side) to [image].

The conditions for it can be done manually.

What I mean is, it wouldn't have to be related to NBT tags. It would just be its own "set face (left/right/top/bottom/front/side) to [image]."

The NBT part or any condition would just be inside of the if statement.
