So I’m trying to have a required dependency for my mod with the mod Weather Storms and Tornadoes, however, the game always crashes. But when I export my mod, it works perfectly fine. I believe it’s because MCreator (I’m using 2024.4, so that I can make the mod in 1.20.1) is using an outdated version of Forge or Gradle or something, but I don’t know how to really fix the problem. Please help!
Newer versions use NeoForge because it is much more widespread nowadays
Yeah but I can't because it won't be compatible with the mod I'm trying to use. (Weather Storms and Tornadoes). I would update to the newest version of MCreator but it would render my plugins incompatible and force me to update to a newer version of Minecraft.
Weather Storms is for 1.20.1. For this version, you have this plugin: https://mcreator.net/plugin/114284/minecraft-forge-1201-mod-generator
I'm aware, but I'm using all these plugins, with some of them not being updated yet!
https://mcreator.net/plugin/104607/forge-mixins-support (not updated)
https://mcreator.net/plugin/105698/redwires-plugin (updated?)
https://mcreator.net/plugin/93380/plugin-damage-source-plugin-forge-1192 (not updated)
https://mcreator.net/plugin/107323/new-procedures-plus (updated)
https://mcreator.net/plugin/93491/custom-fog-plugin-forge-1182-1192 (not updated)
https://mcreator.net/plugin/97468/remote-workspaces-support-20232 (not updated)
Also, I heard using that plugin doesn't update Forge for some reason.
