About CCTVCraft

Whether you want to spy on your friend's house on a server or keep an eye on your village, CCTVCraft will provide you with the tools to watch whatever you want anywhere you want. We have used MCreator to make this complex mod from the ground up. NorthWestTrees Gaming maintains the mod.

Transition To NeoForge

CCTVCraft will be migrating to NeoForge after MCreator switches the generator to that platform.

With this being said CCTVCraft forge version has pretty high TPS which I will be trying to address before I start to work on a new mod for the NeoForge platform.

The general goal looks like the below for me finishing up the forge edition of the mod.

  1. Release 4.8.0 and 4.9.0 will focus on adding better mod pack support.

  2. Release 4.10.0 and 4.11.0 will hopefully resolve some issues with the high TPS rates with the mod.

  3. By then MCreator should have released NeoForge and I will start working on the new mods for that platform.

If you have suggestions for the NeoForge edition I already created the CCTVCraft NeoForge GitHub repository for that version feel free to share your ideas there in the meantime and I will try to add them once I am done with the Forge version.

can you make a video for this? im little bit cunfuse how to use the drone

4.5 drones require energy do make sure you place your drone on a charging table and have some kind of FE power go into the charging block I have provided a solar panel that can get the job done without any other mods. Once you have done that make sure your drone controller is linked to the drone. The controller has a few options so make sure you have the right one for saving the drone. You can also use the drone controller to enter the drone mode which will transport you to the drone.

Though this will change in the future as I will be converting the current drones into entities so that flying around will be smoother. But I am still trying to figure out how to implement the current features for an entity version.

I don't know, I have only played Tekkit Classic and Attack of the B team so am not familiar with most modern mods these days though I do recall playing Build Craft, some of Flans mods and I think one called Garden craft way back in the day, but those that were yeas ago. I mean Teckkit Classic Computer Craft or what ever it was called was insane I could never figure it out lol. XD

Hey, I'm in 1.16.5 and noticed a problem, I can turn cameras on and off and use a floppy disc on them, but I can't put them on the monitor, I think it's on because when I right-click on it with nothing in my hand it works I just can't connect things to it, I right-click on it with the floppy discs that I have connected to a camera but all that pops up is something like: "To use this, right-click on a camera or monitor block" even though I am. Also. whenever I try to view cameras even though I have no cams connected it removes all the items in my inventory.

I can't guarantee stable updates on the older versions. Not many people report issues on GitHub so I don't find all of them until later in development when I find them I fix things but for 1.16.5 I don't even have a way to roll back to that mod to fix anything. Also developing for more than two versions is hard enough supporting 1.16.5 or 1.12.2 would be a nightmare.

can you put a pick of what NBT you used? I am trying to make a mod with cameras but I can't figure it out.

I don't use NBT, I use player persistent variables. NBT reset if the player dies or goes to another dimension, it may also reset if they go into spectator (possibly) because the entity model would technically not be there possibly so using global variables should work better. Regarding cameras, you need a tone of variables to store many aspects of things such as game mode, rotation, position, monitor location etc. there are more variables than I can count that went into this mod its really a pain to go through but its not something easy to develop mod wise.
