For those who pressed the "hardness' question-mark when creating a block mod element:
The hardness value determines how long it takes for block to be broken. (How long it takes to be mined/cut with an axe when using the appropriate determined tool)
Obsidian for example has a high hardness value where as something like sand has a low hardness value.
Here are some of the hardness values from in-game:
Obsidian = 50
Enderchest = 22.5
Hardened Glass = 10
Diamond/Iron/Emerald/Coal Block = 5
Web = 4
Furnace = 3.5
Diamond/Iron/Emerald/Coal Ore = 3
Chest = 2.5
Cobblestone = 2
Woodplanks = 2
Wood = 2
Stone = 1.5
Melon = 1
Gravel = 0.6
Grassblock = 0.6
Sand = 0.5
Glass = 0.3
Leaves = 0.2
Snow = 0.1
Grass = 0
Bedrock = -1
For all values, see:
God i use the hardness and resistance forms all the time, this made my life easier

Is this 1.14 or 1.12
what is diffrent in 1.14.4 which isn't in 1.12.2 about the hardness???
@KantroActual
but the internal minecraft values might change
Note: setting block as unbreakable does not make it resistent to explosions, keep that in mind
Thanks

Hardened Glass??
If you bothered to look at the website he gave you you'd have found it was 10.
Somehow it doesn't occur to me that planks are harder than stone. By the way. isn't it different in version 1.16.5?
