Cavecraft: Cave Update is a Minecraft 1.16.4 mod that exists to update caves and other parts of Minecraft. Cavecraft: Cave Update.
New Mobs and Bosses:
Cavemen: the villagers of the caves. As of 1.5 they have professions and have cave villages and guards.
Credits:
- NorthWestTrees Gaming for the trading system tutorial without the tutorial the trading update wouldn't be here since I don't understand gui procedures. I figured a way out myself. less random but it still works in 1.5+
- Al114 suggested some ideas and they made it in the mod such as the mushrooms. Some of the ideas are still being added.
-Ocey suggested heated iron which arrived in 1.5.

Confirmed Updates:
- v 1.6 the world update. Will add a lot of content to Cavecraft cave update
- v 1.7 will add stone types for every biome hopefully or new caves per biome. either one or both

cavecraft 1.4 pre release:
- Cyclops boss spawns in a custom island in jungles for now.
- Cyclops eye and block: Don't function properly yet.
- Karakains are now slightly more common to spawn in raiding parties.

Caveroot plants spawn on flat worlds for some reason. (Fixed and is no longer an issue.

a beta build for v 1.5 that adds more blocks, stalactites that generate and 5ish cave biomes
Cavecraft 1.5 pre 2:
- Adds more cave biomes
- rebalanced cave village generation (now they arent everywhere and are somewhat rare)
- added poison caves biome
- cave biomes now can generate up to y 80 if there are caves that high up
- Added 4 new weapon types: halberd, dagger, sickles, and clubs.
- Heated irons now useful
No promises but if I can re add everything plus more before the week is over there might be a 1.15 beta. Also I wish my original workspace hadn’t corrupted since if it hadn't corrupted 1.15 would have been ready by now. Also I will not add new mobs for 1.15 most likely since 1.16 is out. Also the 1.16 version could be fabric since I use fabric in 1.16 and forge in other versions. I will try to have both forge and fabric by 1.16.
(this comment I am posting here on the mod page doesn't count for what I said yesterday) I think I have a release date. Probably around the 20th if not a few days after. I forgot to mention I made lots of custom textures. also I have been experimenting with models and a few days ago I had a model that held items but I forget how I did that. I will release the first beta once the model works again :)
This is the last comment I will make before the 1.15 beta is ready. Development is doing pretty well but I have been trying to figure out how to make this one creature but the model for the creature crashes the game. Other than that I am almost done except structures.
Also barely any blocks are shown. Soon I will come up with a better texure for everything. Also most of the comments I see are about the textures needing updating
