Topic category: Minecraft mod ideas exchange
This is the official topic for RaolCraft Omega.
Here I will write comments about future updates, changelogs, etc.
You can post here bug reports, suggestions, opinions, etc.
If you want a guide about the mod you can go here instead: https://github.com/raoldev/RaolCraft-Omega/wiki
If you want you can also reply to this survey:
(you can reply to only a few questions if you want )
In your opinion, what needs to be improved?
What should be removed?
What textures need to be changed?
Did you like playing this mod?
What's your favorite feature?
OLD STUFF:
I'm sorry that I am not making updates for RaolCraft 3 but I'm having some problems with internet connection (yes again)
Anyways, when I will have back the good internet connection I will release new little mods instead of updating RaolCraft.
The mods will be released in a single mod page because they will be like a modpack.
What mod should I make first?
Raol's Improved Vanilla
This mod will improve Vanilla minecraft without changing the gameplay (like Quark or Craft Horizons). Some features will be taken from RaolCraft (Raolcraft 1 was intended to be like a Minecraft update).
Raol's Furniture mod
It's simply a furniture mod.
Raol's Clothes mod
Inspired by Killer Unicorns's Clothes+ mod.
Raol's Garden
A mod that adds more plants
(yes all of them start with Raol's because there may be other mods with similar names and also so they are all next to each other.)
Why am I doing this?
Because RaolCraft 3's workspace is broken and when importing it I need to fix an hundred of bugs and so it's better to make another mod.
Do you prefer another remake? RaolCraft Omega Edition XD
RaolCraft 1 reached 35 mod elements
RaolCraft 2 reached 200+ mod elements
RaolCraft 3 reached 900+ mod elements
RaolCraft Ω maybe will reach 4500 mod elements XD just joking
In that case Ill try to finish coding a 1.16 forge generator soon
Which only needs a few features first then bug fixing.
Oh and I hope the textures will look cool next to 1.14 ones
That's cool :)
And I am going to change many textures (there are many which are very bad even for being 1.12.2 textures)
there not very bad. Just wait till I show off the textures I originally made but used a better one instead for the first version of Cavecraft: Cave Update. The bricks look pretty good
How can I make a totem of water breathing??
the recipe doesn’t appear for me, is there a way to find it in the world?
You can craft the totem using three Fragments of Totem of Water Breathing. You can get a fragment by killing the Water Spirit King.
If you need a guide for the mod you can check this link:

In the 1.14 version will berry bushes work like vanilla ones???
I will try to do so :)
Since I've stopped updating updating the changelog to avoid spamming (I now write changes on a file so I can copy them when the new version will be released) here are a few news from the update:
I still have to update all structures and change many textures though. There will also be some little new features like a way to completely repair an item or to have renewable Royal Mana
ohh u get github wiki? :D
Yep :D
A few news from the next update:
The Freezing Sword! Crafted using a Slowing Stick and 2 Glacial Metal Ingots, it freezes enemies hit!
Vertical Mysterious Paintings (and more to come)! All Raolcraft paintings can now also be placed facing up or down
A few tweaks like Endermen holding raolcraft blocks, nerfs to the Armor of Light, improved lava fishing, Tridents craftable using Water Ingots, Water dimension renamed to Atlantis, Spectral dimension renamed to Eidolon, Inferno Furnace can turn Obsidian into Lava and more...
I didn't have much time this month so that's it...
JUST KIDDING!!
Here's the Luminous Table (name to change)!
It can bestow a Dark Diamond Sword with a powerful blessing! The blessing is temporary and will only last until the next time it is dawn though. A blessed sword will lose all the enchantements and keep durability, which will be fully restored at the end of the blessing (the enchantments are lost forever instead).
This means you'll have to choose between blessings or enchantments, but believe me when I say blessings are really powerful!
To bless an item you'll need 16 spectral dust and a block of gems, and depending on the gem chosen it will gain a different effect:
Still have to think about the others (suggestions are welcome!)
And there is more!
The Polar Compass can now actually be crafted and tells you the direction you're facing!
The Fireball Wand is added, which shoots a ghast-like fireball!
There also is the Evoker Wand, which creates fangs around you!
There are new blocks found in new biomes of the dimensions (I will talk about this another day!)
There is a new tab for spawn eggs!
And there are 2 new powerful totems (but you will only be able to obtain them in a future update...)!
The Totem of Light (still need to find a name), which allows you to have up to four additional totem effects at time!
Wait, how? Well, using the luminous table you can also bless a piece of Armor of Light for a day, and based on the type of gem you used it will gain a blessing of its related totem!
However, to activate these effects you need a totem of light in your hand! It's very expensive but it can be useful to have 5 different effects (4 for the armor + 1 for the amulet, or 6 if you also have another totem on the other hand) in case you need to fight a powerful boss!
Actually, I still have to implement this feature (but I will tomorrow). Rather than using a different armor with a different texture for each blessing, there will be only one armor which will store the blessing with a tag (otherwise there would be 64 new armor pieces lol). The blessing will probably also consume something different than spectral dust (maybe an item dropped by all monsters in the Original World?)
The Totem of Empower (again, WIP name), takes a more offensive approach: rather than upgrading your armor, it will upgrade your spells!
Basically, while holding it, any wand you use will be a lot more powerful (with no further costs)! It isn't as op as the previous totem (which was quite expensive though) but is a lot more interesting!
Here are the upgrades I've already implemented:
And more to come!
It is actually true I didn't have much time this month, in fact almost everything (especially the totems and the blessing, which are ideas I got 2 days ago) was done this weekend. There still are many textures to be updated and many structures to be rebuilt, but I will try to procrastinate as little as possible XD
Sorry for the long wall of text (I didn't post from a while) an hope you will like the next update :)
