Cavecraft: Cave Update is a Minecraft 1.16.4 mod that exists to update caves and other parts of Minecraft. Cavecraft: Cave Update.

New Mobs and Bosses:

Cavemen: the villagers of the caves. As of 1.5 they have professions and have cave villages and guards.

Credits:

- NorthWestTrees Gaming for the trading system tutorial without the tutorial the trading update wouldn't be here since I don't understand gui procedures. I figured a way out myself. less random but it still works in 1.5+

- Al114 suggested some ideas and they made it in the mod such as the mushrooms. Some of the ideas are still being added.

-Ocey suggested heated iron which arrived in 1.5.

- All of you that downloaded and/or upvoted Cavecraft: cave update!!!!

Confirmed Updates:

- v 1.6 the world update. Will add a lot of content to Cavecraft cave update

- v 1.7 will add stone types for every biome hopefully or new caves per biome. either one or both

showcasing my mod is allowed along with making videos with my mod. also currently there are no translations since English is the only language I know.

Also feel free to use cavecraft: cave update in a modpack if you want, have fun! Also I develop my mods by myself so updates won't be done in a day :)

cavecraft 1.4 pre release:

- Cyclops boss spawns in a custom island in jungles for now. 

- Cyclops eye and block: Don't function properly yet. 

- Karakains are now slightly more common to spawn in raiding parties.

Caveroot plants spawn on flat worlds for some reason. (Fixed and is no longer an issue.

a beta build for v 1.5 that adds more blocks, stalactites that generate and 5ish cave biomes

Cavecraft 1.5 pre 2:

- Adds more cave biomes

- rebalanced cave village generation (now they arent everywhere and are somewhat rare)

- added poison caves biome

- cave biomes now can generate up to y 80 if there are caves that high up

- Added 4 new weapon types: halberd, dagger, sickles, and clubs.

- Heated irons now useful

 

I still am having trouble with the plugin since I don't know what minecraft folder shows the mappings so I can find the file to show how to register biomes. Once I finish the plugin I will continue working on Cavecraft: Cave Update.

I can't help you with the plugin but to add images to descriptions simply upload your image to a free website like imgbb or imgur, copy its link, use the add image tool when changing the description of the mod and paste it there.
You can also add up to 6 images directly to the MCreator website, and right now you only have the one you use for the logo

Okay thanks! Also I have been using a tutorial and it won’t work for me so I should probably just not finish the plugin. Lastly I am going to make a villager overhaul mod which will add new villagers and they will probably be similar to tango tek’s mod Tektopia except trading will still be possible and they won’t have better ai since I am not good at making custom ai and both villagers vanilla and custom will both be found in the world

Im adding 1.16 support after I am happy with Upgrade Inferno. Upgrade Inferno if you don’t know is going to be my version of a nether overhaul for 1.16 and above. I am planning on updating all my mods to 1.16 I just need to wait until dimensions and mobs are added to Crispy_Chips1234 and Goldorions fabric plugin. I hope 1.16.2 is released soon since it will change dimensions and biomes so the fabric plugin could add them. Also in the description of Cavecraft: Cave Update I will add a link to the fabric plugin once I add 1.16 support. Also blockbench doesn’t support 1.16 yet sadly.

I am working on Cavecraft: Cave Update 1.15 soon I will remove the 1.12.2 file I might dup the workspace so 1.12 could have some features. Also here is something to know 1.12 doesn't support global variables which is how the trading system I will add works. Also 1.15 has way more modding options. I will use the 1.12 plugin.

I am currently beta testing stalactites. Once some structures are done I will release a new 1.15 beta

I can’t update for at least a few hours. I am going to re texture everything to make the blocks look way better. This time I should be able to fix the textures and I will add lots of new blocks and I will add stalactites and stalagmites. I will add horizontal stalactites and more. Once I am done I will update

I haven't finished yet. I am redoing every texture again and existing worlds will need to load new areas since once I update there will be stalagmites and stalactites. Last time it didn't work and caused my game to crash for the first time in a few months. Also I am adding different variants of andesite and cobble so it will be possible to detail using the blocks. Also I am planning on making the bricks I will add have multiple textures which I figured out how to do using multiple blocks and procedures.
