Volcanic

This mod adds a new biome called volcanic lands.  This environment is all that remains of a lush forest that was destroyed by a powerful volcanic eruption whose remains are just small volcanoes scattered throughout the biome.  The hardest logs have turned into burnt wood which can serve as fuel if refined.  Around the biome it contains several thermal springs (excellent for rheumatism) and geysers, on which it is advisable not to sit down to rest.  The various descriptions will contain information on the chemical composition, the origin of the block and its uses.  I hope you like this mod and I recommend that you report any bugs in the comments.
