Doors that actualy work

So, if any of you tried to create custom bioms with villages in it or even a simple mod that improves the mechanic of specific blocks like doors then you had some problems.. I hope you did, cuz then this would be just a stupid topic. So I should just ask my question. How do I make doors. I tried many ways, like making two blocks, each one for a different state (opened and closed), but there I had problems with making the doors rotate how do I want them to (opposing me), and many more ways (I know I only said one...). And there are many problems here, I know how to do most of the stuff, but that doesn't mean I'm not a beginner... which I am... so any kind of help and some tips regarding this would be appriciated! And also I'm deeply sorry for my bad english.. I think I know how to make words, but now how to pronounce them :p

With the new 1.8.0 update,…

With the new 1.8.0 update, you have the option to not put a block in any creative tab. What you can do is use an app like Blockbench (which I have and use) to make two separate models; one for the closed door and one for the open door. Put the models both into Creator as two separate blocks; just make the open version unobtainable. Then, give them both a procedure where, if the closed door is right-clicked, it will replace it with the open door, and vice-versa for the open one--give it a procedure to replace it with the closed door.
