cant delete sounds

i have a bunch of sounds that i have some problems with so i want to delete them and add them again. so i removed them from the sounds folders, from the sounds.json file and from my *mod id*.java file , but upon building the gradle project, they get added back into sounds.json and my *mod id*.java file. i could just add them with a diffrent name but i want the original names
