Topic category: Minecraft mod ideas exchange
This is the official topic for RaolCraft Omega.
Here I will write comments about future updates, changelogs, etc.
You can post here bug reports, suggestions, opinions, etc.
If you want a guide about the mod you can go here instead: https://github.com/raoldev/RaolCraft-Omega/wiki
If you want you can also reply to this survey:
(you can reply to only a few questions if you want )
In your opinion, what needs to be improved?
What should be removed?
What textures need to be changed?
Did you like playing this mod?
What's your favorite feature?
OLD STUFF:
I'm sorry that I am not making updates for RaolCraft 3 but I'm having some problems with internet connection (yes again)
Anyways, when I will have back the good internet connection I will release new little mods instead of updating RaolCraft.
The mods will be released in a single mod page because they will be like a modpack.
What mod should I make first?
Raol's Improved Vanilla
This mod will improve Vanilla minecraft without changing the gameplay (like Quark or Craft Horizons). Some features will be taken from RaolCraft (Raolcraft 1 was intended to be like a Minecraft update).
Raol's Furniture mod
It's simply a furniture mod.
Raol's Clothes mod
Inspired by Killer Unicorns's Clothes+ mod.
Raol's Garden
A mod that adds more plants
(yes all of them start with Raol's because there may be other mods with similar names and also so they are all next to each other.)
Why am I doing this?
Because RaolCraft 3's workspace is broken and when importing it I need to fix an hundred of bugs and so it's better to make another mod.
Do you prefer another remake? RaolCraft Omega Edition XD
RaolCraft 1 reached 35 mod elements
RaolCraft 2 reached 200+ mod elements
RaolCraft 3 reached 900+ mod elements
RaolCraft Ω maybe will reach 4500 mod elements XD just joking
don't get too excited, it's probably full of bugs XD
I haven't found any major bugs yet. It seems stable.
Also I forgot to mention I tried out the mod. I like it and It is pretty cool with all the dimensions and blocks. Also I has getting pretty good fps also my pc isn't that good in 1.15 and below I need optifine to get 30 fps otherwise I get about 12 fps. Also my fps was about one hundred with Raolcraft it is easy to run. On Sevtech ages my fps is always at 1-3 on the lowest settings. So I was wondering could I use some of your mods in a 1.12 modpack I was planning to make. If I can use some of your mods like Raolcraft Omega and Modular Expansion in the modpack I will make it public and send you a link :)
Of course you can! And I'm glad the mod works well!
(by the way, I tried Sevtech ages too and it's true, it eats all the FPS XD)
By the way, here are some mods you can use to smooth the game (besides Optifine):
FoamFix
BetterFPS
I use them in all modpacks (there might be a few more but I can't remember right now)!
Thanks but I already use those mods in 1.12 along with some in this video:

my lategame raolcraft base
Nice.
Wow, that's awesome :D
At which point in the game are you? You should make a world showcase XD
While updating Hodge-Podge III's dimensions and structures, I realized how RaolCraft dimensions feel empty and lackluster.
Even after adding new mobs, materials, structures, they still feel very empty (just with a little bit more decorations). Updates will have to be done in a different way, by actually revamping those dimensions (like 1.16), rather than just throwing random features at them (which don't really connect well together).
Each of these dimensions will get a dedicated update (the next update, 2.5 for 1.14.4, will only add 4 elemental neutral mobs since rebuilding all the RaolCraft structures would already take too much time).
Each of these dimensions will mostly get a new name, new biomes (including an "hardcore" biome with harder mobs and menaces but better loot) and some new minibosses (some unlocked after beating the Dark Emperor - they won't be very powerful but will posses unique abilities)
So, here are some of my ideas:
Water dimension/water depths
After the update, it will look more like submerged ruins of an ancient civilization, rather than a flooded cave with floating corals
Fire dimension/magma forest
After the update, this dimension will look more like fire-elemental forest rather than a warmer version of the Nether
Part 2 of this comment coming soon (if it gets too long I might open a topic about it XD)
Part 2 of the previous comment:
(btw I forgot to mention the new neutral creatures added in 2.5 will only spawn after defeating the Dark Emperor)
Spectral dimension/spectral crystals ruins
After its update, this will look like an ancient capital now populated by the spirits of its previous inhabitants
Earth dimension/soil soul
After its update, it will look like huge caves with many kinds of variations.
Ice dimension/eternal cold
After the update, it will look like frozen caves (I will make sure it will different from the winter-themed dimension from Hodge-Podge - which was in Hodge Podge II)
Flora dimension
After the update, there will be a biome for each kind of vegetation and it will be more consistent
Sky dimension/celestial ruins
Not much is planned for this dimension right now
Original world
This list is huge and is 100% not going to be fully implemented (I will never have the patience to create those huge creatures and complex structures, and RaolCraft is not my only mod). However, I wanted to write it anyway so I have a better idea on how to improve them.
There will be a main update focusing on each dimension, but new useful blocks will also be added (like a blockewhich can use wands as if it was a player) (and a way to turn spirits back to their original state... using dark magic)
What do you think? Which are your favorite ideas? Do you think this is the wrong direction? Let me know!
I am going to quickly make the modpack. And then I will send a link to the modpack.
about to go to the sky dimension. Already finished the entire Twilight Forest and fought most previous bosses 3 times for totem boi
some feedback on raolcraft dimensions:
@McModded1.14 If you mean MCreator Craft I've already commented there :)
