Have you ever wondered how do you make custom banners in Minecraft? On this page, we'll show you how to make your very banner pattern that can be applied to banners and shields.
Banner patterns can be created from MCreator 2025.2 onwards.
Properties
Pattern name: This parameter defines how the pattern will be called in the loom.
Does pattern require an item: If checked, this pattern won't be available in the loom by default, but will instead require an item that provides this pattern. Any custom item can be pattern provider if enabled.
Texture previews - offer one a way to quickly visualize how the banner pattern will look like in the game on the banner and on the shield.
